Static Screen
The static wedge screen is a very effective device screen for the separation of solids from liquids, providing applications in industrial processes and waste water treatment. A simple device with no moving parts available in a wide range of screen sizes, widths and flow capacities.
The inlet water flows uniformly downwards onto the curved screen distributed by an overfall. The filtered water flows from the grid gap of screen to the outlet directly. The solids cannot follow this movement and roll down over the screen, due to the water power, the solids finally fall over the throw-off edge into a hopper(hopper is an optional accessory).
